Bordered tinder (Fomitopsis pinicola) powder of fruit bodies
For the preparation of activated (frozen) fine powder, fruit bodies of bordered tinder (Fomitopsis pinicola) collected on birch trees in the Vladimir, Kostroma and Moscow regions were used. Mushrooms are dried at a temperature of 30-35 ° C, which ensures complete preservation of pharmacological qualities. The drug contains a full range of components: polysaccharides, ergosterol, triterpenoids, melanins and other bioactive substances that provide maximum support for most body functions and a stable therapeutic effect.

Description
Pharmacological and medical properties
Bordered tinder is a medicinal mushroom new to medicine, active research of which began just a few years ago. And unexpectedly for researchers, it turned out to be a storehouse of bioactive substances, comparable in activity to reishi. Polysaccharides acting as immunostimulators and capable of suppressing neoplasms were found in the fruit bodies of the bordered tinder. Pronounced positive results were obtained for sarcoma, cervical cancer and liver cancer. The antibacterial effect of lanostane terpenoids and mushroom steroids is shown on Staphylococcus aureus and conditionally pathogenic bacteria. The anti-inflammatory effect is expressed in the inhibition of enzymes COX-1 and CX-2. Mushroom preparations showed high activity in terms of stimulating the liver and triggering the mechanism of weight loss almost at the level of the ram mushroom (maitake), as well as the effect on lowering glucose levels in diabetes, combining the activity of maitake and larch tinder (larch sponge). Fruit bodies collected on birch trunks are particularly active.
Traditional and folk medicine
In Japanese folk medicine, the mushroom is used as an anti-cancer agent, and a tonic drink similar to tea is also prepared from it. In other countries of Asia and North America, decoctions and infusions of the mushroom are used for fever, jaundice, diarrhea, dysentery and excessive urination, as a laxative and anti-inflammatory agent, as a means to cleanse the stomach. The mushroom is used by the Indians of the Cree tribe for bleeding as a hemostatic agent. Bordered tinder is used as a raw material for medical preparations in homeopathy.
